Copilot readiness is not a license event

Microsoft 365 Copilot will answer from whatever it can reach. If the tenant is full of leftover sites, inherited permissions, and three versions of the same contract, the model will surface that mess with confidence.

Readiness starts with grounding. Name the libraries that are allowed to be sources. Confirm they hold current versions. Remove or lock the junk that should never be cited.

Then permissions. A useful answer from the wrong library is a risk event. Review sharing links, guest access, and inheritance before a wider rollout. Sensitivity labels only help if people actually apply them.

Last, pick a job someone already does: find the current file, draft from a known source, summarize a known process. A pilot without a scenario is a license test. Digital Weave treats the scenario as the first acceptance test — not the last slide.
